Keep Your Salad Anti-Inflammatory

Nothing elevates a salad to “yum” status quite like a tasty 😋 flavorful dressing. Keep the healthy value of your salad by making your own with anti-inflammatory oils like avocado and olive oil. Making your own salad dressing is a simple, cost-effective, and great way to control additives, like sugar and preservatives, that might be hiding in processed varieties.
Follow this simple formula:
✅Fat – olive oil, avocado 🥑 oil, nut oil.
✅Acid – wine 🍷 vinegar, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, balsamic vinegar.
✅Seasoning – cumin, oregano, basil 🌿 , curry.
✅Flavor booster – hummus, mustard, maple syrup [just a touch👌🏻], tahini.

The addition of some maple syrup helps “quiet” the acid and allows you to use 🔽 less oil, helping control overall calories. Oil plays an important role in maximizing the absorption of oil-soluble nutrients 💪🏻 in leafy greens [I’m looking at you – vitamin A and K], but a little goes a long way.
